DLÚXE Custom Apparel: Refund & Return Policy
This policy governs the terms for deposits, cancellations, refunds, and returns for all custom and made-to-order apparel items purchased from DLÚXE. By placing an order and submitting a deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined below.
1. Deposits for Custom Orders
A non-refundable deposit is required to initiate any custom apparel or made-to-order project. This deposit is mandatory and serves to cover the initial administrative costs, design time, mock-ups, and the immediate securing of materials and production scheduling for your specific order.
*Application: The deposit amount will be credited toward the final balance of your custom order.
*Non-Refundable Status: In the event that the custom order is canceled at any time by the customer, or the customer fails to complete the order, the deposit remains the property of DLÚXE and will not be refunded under any circumstances.
2. Order Cancellation Policy
Cancellations for custom orders are subject to a fee structure based on the stage of production, as costs are incurred immediately upon order confirmation.
*Cancellation Before Production: If you cancel your order before final production has begun, you will forfeit the initial non-refundable deposit. No further charges will apply.
*Cancellation After Material Procurement or Design Approval: If you cancel your order after materials have been ordered or secured, and/or after the design proof has been formally approved by you, a 50% cancellation fee of the total order value will be applied. This fee covers the cost of procured materials and overhead incurred up to the point of cancellation.
* If your deposit was less than 50% of the total order value, you will be invoiced for the difference.
* If your deposit was 50% or more, the deposit will be retained, and no further payment will be due.
3. Final Sale and Non-Returnable Items
Due to the unique, personalized, and made-to-order nature of our products, all custom apparel items, once completed and delivered, are considered final sale.
*Non-Returnable: DLÚXE does not accept returns or exchanges for any item that has been customized, personalized, or made-to-order specifically for the customer. This includes, but is not limited to:
* Apparel featuring custom logos, graphics, or text.
* Items ordered in specific colors, sizes, or styles not kept in general stock.
* Items produced based on customer-provided specifications or measurements.
*No Refunds on Completed Orders: Once a custom order has been completed, shipped, or picked up, and it matches the approved design proof and specifications, no refunds or returns will be issued.
4. Exceptions: Errors and Defects
We are committed to quality. In the unlikely event that your custom order contains a defect or an error made on our part, we will rectify the issue.
*Required Notification: You must inspect your order immediately upon receipt and notify DLÚXE of any defects or discrepancies within 1 day of fulfillment.
*Qualifying Errors (Our Responsibility): An error qualifying for correction is defined as a significant deviation from the approved final proof, such as:
* A major print error (e.g., wrong logo color, incorrect logo placement that significantly deviates from the proof).
* Incorrect garment size or color if it differs from what was specified on the approved order form.
* Garment manufacturer defect (e.g., seam coming undone, holes, etc., before wear).
*Remedy: If the error is confirmed to be our mistake, DLÚXE will, at our sole discretion, offer to either reprint the affected items or issue a partial or full refund for the affected items.
*Non-Qualifying Issues (Customer Responsibility): We are not responsible for errors arising from specifications provided by the customer, including:
* Typos, grammatical errors, or design flaws present on the approved final proof.
* Garment fit issues (e.g., ordered the wrong size).
* Color variations between your digital screen/monitor and the final printed product.
*Shipping Delays: DLÚXE does not operate as the delivery courier. Once your order leaves our studio, the responsibility for transit time lies with the chosen shipping carrier. DLÚXE does not issue refunds for delivery delays caused by shipping providers; please contact the courier directly regarding refund inquiries.
